A: Telemedicine allows you to have a real-time video visit with your provider using your smartphone, tablet, or computer. Once your appointment is scheduled, we’ll send you a secure link to connect with a provider at your scheduled time.

Q: What types of conditions are appropriate for telemedicine?

A: Telemed is great for medication refills, minor illnesses (like colds, sinus issues, or allergies), follow-up care, and reviewing test results. If we determine that you need in-person care during the visit, we’ll help coordinate that.

Q: Can you prescribe medications during a virtual visit?

A: Yes. If appropriate, we can send prescriptions electronically to your preferred pharmacy after your telemedicine appointment.

Q: Do I need to download an app?

A: No app is necessary! After booking your visit, you’ll receive a secure link via text or email. Just click the link at your scheduled time. No logins or downloads required.

Q: Is telemedicine available for children?

A: Yes! We can see pediatric patients virtually when appropriate, especially for mild illnesses, medication questions, and follow-ups. A parent or guardian must be present during the visit.
